Folly Farm Cottage is a 15th century thatched Devon longhouse situated on the ‘beach side’ of the village of Braunton. With the charm you’d expect from a historic farmhouse cottage, it is furnished with an interior that blends old and new in a relaxed contemporary style.
Your Bed & Breakfast accommodation is in a completely self- contained annexe with its own private entrance. This area has 2 guest bedrooms, both with en-suite shower room, its own breakfast room and kitchen and a lovely outside patio area where you can have alfresco breakfast or just chill with a cuppa or glass of wine!
Braunton lies on the North Devon coast within an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are close to the UNESCO biosphere of Braunton Burrows reserve, 1.5 miles from Saunton Sands and only minutes’ drive to many other wonderful beaches along the spectacular North Devon coastline, including Croyde, Woolacombe and Putsborough. These offer a great range of activities, including surfing, kite or wind surfing, canoeing, and kayaking.
Saunton Golf Club with its 18 hole championship lynx courses is 1.5 miles. The South West Coastal Path and the Tarka Cycling Trail are on our doorstop and a short drive will take you to beautiful Exmoor National Park.
Folly farm Cottage is just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Braunton, where you will find a good mix of cafes, bistros, restaurants, pubs, many individual shops, TIC, Braunton Museum and Countryside centre, a new surf museum and various activities hire outlets.
